New Year, New Eurolec

New Year, New Eurolec

There've been some big changes at Eurolec over the last couple of months and so we wanted to share some of our exciting news with you, and let you know how we are working hard to help us do business better.

You can now buy from us online!

Here at Eurolec, we’ve always been incredibly proud of our philosophy of striving to be at the forefront of temperature and pressure measurement technology, leading the way and making environmental condition monitoring easy, simple and accessible with intuitive instruments.

However, we’ve not always been good at applying this philosophy to the rest of our business. We know that it’s not always been easy to buy from us, which is far from ideal, given how important it is that you have easy access to the instruments you need.

So, we’ve taken a huge leap and brought the rest of our business in-line with our philosophy of using technology to make life easier.

You can now buy directly from us on our new-look online store! Simply visit to start shopping.

We’ve opened a new UK office

In order to continue the strength of our product offering by widening our talent pool, we’ve opened a new office in the United Kingdom. Based in York, North Yorkshire, this base of operations serves as the hub for all our research and development work and allows us to strengthen our relationship with our sister company, Cirrus Research, who themselves are based less than an hour away on the Yorkshire coast.

Our team in York will be leading the way for new and innovative products that are sure to make the way you measure and monitor temperature, pressure and vibration far easier than ever before.

Farewell Chris, and welcome to Robert and Cathy!

At the end of 2018, we said a fond farewell to our Managing Director, Chris Mears, who left after almost 20 years with the business to seek new adventures. In his place, we’re pleased to welcome our new Sales Manager, Robert McCrave, and our new Internal Sales Executive, Cathy Litchfield, who is a business graduate from Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Robert’s sales background spans 25 years and several sectors, including the fuel and electrical industries. Before joining Eurolec, he was Internal Sales Manager with Precision Cables Ireland.

He said: “I was delighted to be asked to join the Eurolec team based in my home town of Dundalk. There are exciting prospects ahead as we have ambitious plans to grow sales and introduce new products to the market over the next six months”.
